Blade made from twist Stainless Steel Damas from Sweden, 160 layers
The bolster and plates are made of Nickel Silver, which is a copper alloy with nickel and zinc.
Spring System : the fully hand chased spring is made from a 3 mm thick stainless Steel Z20C13. It is tempered, polished inside and has a fully forged schamrock. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs, that shall keep a long time the edge of the blade.
An amethyst is incrusted in the forged shamrock.

Since the 1920s, FONTENILLE PATAUD has made fine cutlery its core business. The knife handles were crafted from genuine ivory, ebony as well as horn. These knifes were very popular and sold in the best shops.
